PlayStation are making some big changes this year. Grabbing PS Now and PS Plus and pushing them into one service, quite a lot of groundwork needs to be made before everything is ready. Luckily, it seems we're only a few months out and already know some games coming. Here's what we know about Syphon Filter.
Syphon Filter Rating
As reported by Gematsu, a handful of Syphon Filter titles have been rated in KoreaThosn included are
- Syphon Filter for PS4
- Syphon Filter for PS5
- Syphon Filter 2 for PS4
- Syphon Filter 2 for PS5
- Syphon Filter Logans' Shadow for PS4
- Syphon Filter Logans' Shadow for PS5
- Syphon Filter Dark Mirror for PS4
- Syphon Filter Dark Mirror for PS5
Originally launched on the PlayStation way back in 1999, it seems unlikely that these are full-on remakes given the time in which they were rated. It seems far more likely they are bracing to release the original version of these games on modern consoles.
What Does This Mean?
It seems unlikely that this means the return of the games to the PlayStation Store, it seems far more likely that they are coming as part of PS Plus Premium in June.
Where PlayStation Plus Essential only comes with the benefits we now have with PS Plus, PS Plus Premium comes with PS Now games plus 340 additional games from the PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3 generations. It seems like this is only the start for the service and we will see news of tonnes of new games being added over the coming months.
If Sony wants players to stick with the service, they need something worth sticking around for. Hopefully, continuously bringing out new games is a way to do so. If we get any more updates on Syphon Filter and these ratings, we will update you right here.
