The Genshin Impact 1.6 update is out now - New Character Banners are here

The latest miHoYo update for Genshin Impact, ushering in version 1.6, is out right now. There's a couple new Character Banners for you to go after, but there's also a lot of new features and new events for you to get stuck into.

Here's the latest on the new Character Banners, though.

LATEST - Version 1.6 Is Out Now

The "Midsummer Island Adventure" is out right now and Genshin Impact's version 1.6 is off to a good start. There's a Photo Contest starting that's offering players the chance to earn free Priogems by taking in-game photos. However, we're here to talk about Character Banners.

Klee and Kazuha are both coming to Genshin Impact version 1.6 and there are also quite a few new weapons up for grabs.

Happy hunting, Travelers!

New Banners Confirmed

Genshin Impact's Chinese-Language Twitter account has confirmed that Klee and Kazuha are going to be coming to Version 1.6 as two new Character Banners.

The tweet below translates to the following:

" [Ver.1.6 Event Prayer Notice]
★ 5 "Clay" event prayer "Visit of flare"
★ 5 "Kaedehara Manyo" event prayer "deciduous leaves dancing in a whirlwind"

New Genshin Livestream Coming

There's a new Genshin Impact "special announcement livestream" coming from miHoYo and it's due to address everyone's questions about the 1.6 update that's due soon.

The English-language version of the Genshin Impact 1.6 stream is due to go live on their YouTube channel at 11:00 EST / 16:00 BST on May 28th. There's not long left to wait.

We're also expecting some new promo codes to drop during the stream, so keep an eye out for any way you might be able to get more free Primogems.

New Character Banner Leaks

It might not come as a surprise to you, but there's always some leaks to check out ahead of a miHoYo livestream. Today's 1.6 update announcement stream isn't any different.

Reports are showing that Klee and Kazuha are both going to make a triumphant return to Genshin Impact with in-game Character Banners that you can roll for with Primogems.

As you can see, it all looks quite official. We can't say for certain that this is true though, so take it with a small pinch of salt. It will most likely be proven accurate shortly, but without an official word from miHoYo we should remain sceptical.

Confirmed Character Banners?

We don't know for sure what Character Banners are actually going to show up in the Genshin Impact 1.6 update. However, that being said, the leak above does look pretty legit.

The Chinese-Langauge version of the Genshin Impact 1.6 update trailer has been uploaded already and it confirms some interesting details about the new update that's due to drop on June 9th.
