The return of the loyalty requirements in FUT 22 squad building challenges caused many an eye roll among long-time players.
It can be frustrating to have the right players to achieve the requirements but the problem ends up being that their loyalty isn't high enough.
Fortunately, there is a brand new glitch that has been found. This will allow player stats to be tracked without affecting your overall win/loss record.
New Loyalty Glitch found in FUT 22
Previously, you would begin Squad Battles match against a featured squad and disconnect after just a minute of in-game time. This would cause your record not to be affected but the players would have been classed as playing a match. Rinse and repeat this ten times to gain maximum loyalty and you could complete the associated SBC.
Now, there's a slightly different way to do it as the old method has been patched out. The community has discovered that the Live FUT Friendlies now track stats. This means that when players are used in these games, it counts as a game played even though your record remains unaffected.
This method may be just as grindy as the previous one but it's certainly a lot quicker as you don't have to disconnect and reconnect to the internet every time.
You may find that a lot of players are heading into the Live FUT Friendlies mode with no intention of completing the match. If this becomes an issue, EA may decide to patch it and prevent game stats from tracking to deter this behaviour.
The trickiest SBC so far in FUT 22 has been the First XI challenge from Hybrid Leagues. This requires 11 players from the same nation but playing in 11 different leagues. It's only possible with four nationalities so far; Brazillian, Colombian, Argentinian and Portuguese.
