New Fortnite maitenance patch now available on Xbox & Nintendo Switch

Following the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Android patch, Epic Games has now deployed the recent Maintenance Patch to Nintendo Switch and Xbox Consoles. Fortnite's recent Season 7's Invasion update should be all fixed and working, now.

LATEST - The Update Is Now Out Everywhere

There's been a few issues lately, but it looks like Fortnite is now fully up to date. It's time to jump into Risky Reels and fight off the Alien Invasion!

What's Been Fixed?

At the moment, it looks like the following issues have been rectified:

  • Pre-Lobby Loading Screen issues fixed;
  • Issues affecting Bows in Creative & Save The World;
  • Issues preventing Pop-Up Notifications appearing when invited to a Private Party in-game;

Epic Games doesn't like to go into details, but at least we know the general idea of what's been done.

As you can see below, the update is currently only available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Android. We're expecting an Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch update to drop soon though. Epic Games aren't one to keep people waiting when there are bugs.

Keep an eye on FortniteStatus on Twitter for the latest updates regarding Fortnite's maintenance.

Fortnite Season 7 has introduced Rick Sanchez, from Adult Swim's Rick & Morty, and Clark Kent, from the DC Comics' universe to Fortnite in an effort to fight back against the alien attacks that seem to characterise this season's Invasion theme.

There's a new battle pass system in play too, which should give you more control over what you unlock and when you unlock it. Of course, this all means you're going to have to jump into Fortnite Island and battle to the death. Luckily, there are a few more weapons at your disposal now.

It looks to be one of the better updates we've seen in recent months and we can't wait to see where Epic Games takes Fortnite next.
