NBA 2K23 Gameplay Latest News
As we near the release of the game, more NBA 2K23 gameplay news continues to surface. The first thing we hope to see is the new dribble mechanics.
Now, the first-look trailer didn't reveal much but several accounts have "leaked" that NBA 2K23 is much slower this year than it was in NBA 2K22.
Check out the first-look trailer here:
The trailer stirred up talks surrounding what players would like to see from the NBA 2K23 gameplay and the most notable conversations included dribble spam.
The good news is that if the game is slowed down, those dribble spam moves are less likely to work, providing a more realistic experience.

New Animations in NBA 2K23
Within the trailer that we provided above, you can see that there are a few new shove animations and contested shot animations.
Along with that you can see that the Nighty-Night and the Griddy celebrations are both in the game, bringing a new dimension to the NBA 2K23 gameplay.
What would be really cool is if these celebrations can be equipped to your NBA 2K23 MyCAREER player, adding an extra level of customizations.
We'll have to see when the content reveals for August detail everything new we can expect.

However, you can see more NBA 2K23 gameplay footage starting September 1 all the way until September 9, when the game releases.
Jordan Challenge in NBA 2K23
NBA 2K23 is trying to bring the most to its fans with the Jordan Challenge. You'll play through eras as Michael Jordan and earn rewards the whole way.
Perhaps the thing we're most excited about is how each era will have different NBA 2K23 gameplay functions. Things like game speed will be slowed down to match how the NBA was in the 80s.
You can expect a mixture of former broadcasts to really tune up the immersion of the Jordan Challenge while you complete the top moments in Jordan's career.
