Madden 24 is finally here, and players are eager to try the new game out. This edition brings plenty of new features and delivers a realistic experience like never before.

However, before diving head-first into Madden 24, it's important you are familiar with the controls. This will give you an advantage against other players, and save you from many frustrating moments.

Madden controls haven't changed a lot in the past couple of years and that trend continued this year. If you are a veteran Madden player, these controls will feel very familiar to you.

So, without further ado, let's master the Madden 24 controls.

As mentioned above, we didn't see massive changes in the controls for Madden 24. So, if you are very familiar with the Madden 23 controls, you should be able to master all of them in no time.

Some small changes can be made, but it's highly unlikely. Nevertheless, if that happens, we will make sure to update the article.

Madden 24 offense controls

Defense might win you titles, but offense will win you plenty of games in Maden 24. To execute perfect passes, blow by defenders, and find a clear path to the end zone, you need to master the offense controls.

Knowing how to juke left, protect the ball, or dive, can be very important. Mastering these controls can take you from a good player to a great one.

Ball carrier controls

It's crucial that you know how to utilize the ball carrier controls. This will allow you to keep the ball moving, and utilize your RB, WR, and QB to the best of his abilities.

You will most likely not use these controls a lot, but it's always good to be familiar with them.

Pre-Play offense controls

It's crucial that you know how to analyze the opponent's defense and change your strategy accordingly. This feature allows you to change your WRs routes, and exploit a gap in the defense.

AI defense is indeed historically strong in Madden. So, many players prefer to let the AI do all the work. However, in some situations, that can be disadvantageous.

These controls are very similar to the catching controls. But this time, you will be trying to prevent the receiver from receiving the ball.

Tackles have been improved in Madden 24, so these controls became even more important.

Defensive pursuit controls

As mentioned above, tackles were improved. So, it's crucial you know how to unbalance or bring down your opponent. This will help you force many turnovers, and stop dangerous plays.
