New Star Guardian skins have hit the League of Legends Public Beta Environment (PBE) ahead of LoL 12.14.
Even though LoL 12.13 has yet to hit the Summoner's Rift, the developers at Riot Games have been hard at work at adding even more skins to the immensely popular skin line's return.
With that, here's what's in store.
New Star Guardian Skins hit PTR ahead of LoL 12.14
The second batch of Star Guardian skins this year will have champions such as Akali, Morgana, Quinn, Rell, and Taliyah all take part in the fan-favorite League of Legends skin line. Additionally, it'll also give Syndra, who already has a skin of her own, a Prestige version.
The Star Guardian skin line first appeared in 2015 with the release of Star Guardian Lux and was later quickly expanded with the additions of Jinx, Lulu, and Poppy. Since then, champions like Miss Fortune, Syndra, Ezreal, Soraka, Ahri, Neeko, and Janna have all joined the mix.
Seeing as it's been a while since the line has seen some additions—barring the Corrupted Star Guardians expansion which included skins for Zoe, Rakan, and Xayah—, Riot decided to bring it back two years later with LoL 12.13 which is scheduled to release tomorrow. This included skins for Kai'Sa, Sona, Ekko, Fiddlesticks, and the newly releasing melee bot laner, Nilah.
The line is Riot Games' tribute to the magical girl anime genre which looks to empower women, shows the importance of good friends, and celebrates the authentic representation of one's self.
It is expected for most of these skins to rock a 1350 RP price tag, with Akali's skin being priced at 1820 RP and Syndra's Prestige skin being priced at 125 ME.
