New Mythmaker Skin Line Revealed for League of Legends Lunar New Year

Now that a year's worth of skins has come and gone, it's time to begin to start anew.

Kicking off what will be 12 months of League of Legends-filled content in 2023 is the brand-new Mythmaker skin line. Revealed via a PBE trailer on Twitter, the new line is set to be the New Year's theme for 2023, featuring a myriad of Chinese-themed skins for several champions.

Led by the Blade Dancer herself, Irelia, who will be the recipient of a Legendary skin, a total of 10 champions will be scattered all across League of Legends with Mythmaker wear. Champions like Galio, Zyra, Garen, Sivir, Ashe, Qiyana, Kha’Zix, Thresh, and Malphite, will all be participating in the new line.

Sivir will receiving a Prestige version of her Mythmaker skin and Lissandra, who received a skin during last year's New Year event, will also apparently be receiving a Prestige edition as well, according to data mines.

Each of the Mythmaker skins reference some type of Chinese tradition or culture, from paper lanterns and zodiac origami to food, and flowers. Additionally, the line seems to be separated into two different color themes, red for Irelia, Galio, Zyra, Garen, and Sivir, and gold for Ashe, Qiyana, Kha’Zix, Thresh, and Malphite.

Although no official information yet, the Mythmaker skins are expected to make their way to the League of Legends shop on LoL 13.1.
