League of Legends: Esports Manager Game Will Enter Open Beta in China

The first announcement of the League of Legends Esports Manager video game was way back in 2019.

Initially announced as part of Riot's 10 year birthday celebrations, the game never came to fruition due to the hit from Covid-19. But all that is changing as the game enters open beta in China this July.

But what is LoL Esports Manager and what can fans expect to see in-game?

What is LoL Esports Manager?

LoL Esports Manager is a mobile game due to be released soon by Riot Games. As it enters the open beta stage of testing, fans are excited to finally hear about developments of the game.

The card-based game is said to feature professional players from the LPL and other important seasons too. LPL teams currently are Anyone’s Legend, Edward Gaming, Invictus, Oh My God, Royal Never Give Up, and many more.

The Esports Manager game doesn't only involve team management, as a coach-like position is required for teams to grow. Players take an active position in the games that the teams go through and decide what targets to hit next.

When will the game enter the open beta stage?

Esports Manager will enter the open beta stage this month in China. Tencent, a Riot company, made the announcement at their Spark conference 2022. It has been reported that Tencent will handle the launch in China, whereas RIot will handle every other country.

The interesting take on Esports Manager is that money made from the game is meant to go back directly to the teams that it is based around. With content being updated with every LPL news, the players should see a considerable chunk of money in their bank accounts.

But with the staggered start to the game, perhaps the popularity has subdued itself. Only time will tell as to how well this game will do in other regions.
