Players sometimes experience problems while playing League of Legends. Anything from FPS drops and packet loss to server connection errors, and more, can plague players, oftentimes not allowing them to play the game.

How to use the League of Legends Hextech Repair Tool
Specifically designed for League of Legends, the developers at Riot Games made a game-specific repair tool, dubbed the "Hextech Repair Tool."
It's a completely separate application from the League of Legends client, one that looks to target and fix problems related to League of Legends, making sure that the game is optimized and any PC settings are corrected via automated troubleshooting. The tool can run ping tests, synchronize system clocks, gather log details about the players' computers and League's installation, and much more.
In order for players to use the Hextech Repair Tool, they first must download it. Players can download the Hextech Repair Tool by visiting the League of Legends support page here.
Like any other application, players can download it with ease and begin using it. When it comes to using it there are a couple of steps to follow:
- Exit League of Legends
- Launch the Hextech Repair Tool
- Look for and select the region of your game server (the region you play in)
- Enable the options you want to apply
- If unsure, usually clicking on all of them except "Disable Firewall" works just fine
- Click on "Start"
- Restart your computer once it's finished
- That's it!
