How to start Apex Legends' Bloodhound Event & White Raven Locations

Respawn Entertainment's first Apex Chronicles event is a hit! If you're a Bloodhound main - or a fan of Bloodhound in general - you're not going to want to miss out on the "Old Ways, New Dawn" event in Apex Legends this week. This is a Bloodhound event that's only available with certain requirements, though... So, if you're having any issues figuring out how to start this Bloodhound Event, we've got you covered.

WHITE RAVEN - Where to find them?

Before you go looking for the White Raven as Bloodhound, make sure you're on World's Edge - that's the only place they spawn.

If you are on World's Edge and playing as Bloodhound, you'll need to check a few key places for White Raven spawn locations.

As you can see below, they're going to spawn in three main clusters. White Raven spawns can be found around the following POI locations:

  • The Epicenter
  • Skyhook
  • Lava Siphon

This might not seem like too many, but this is a five-part narrative event. If you start this part of the Bloodhound Event now and find yourself stuck on what to do next, don't worry! There will be more to come in the next few days.

HOW TO START - "Old Ways, New Dawn"

"Old Ways, New Dawn" is a new kind of Apex Legends event, so it might not be as easy to figure out how to start diving into Bloodhound lore in-game. Thankfully, Respawn Entertainment has shared a few key things to note if you want to start tackling the in-game challenges on offer.

Firstly, you're going to need to be playing as Bloodhound. We know this sounds like it should be obvious - and maybe it is - but it's important to note. All the in-game challenges are unique to Bloodhound and their abilities. If you're not playing as Bloodhound, you just won't be able to continue. It's as simple as that.

In addition to this, you're going to need to be playing a non-ranked BR game on World's Edge if you want to start working your way through the Bloodhound event challenges and "experiences". This is mainly because World's Edge - also known as Talos - is Bloodhound's home. As a narrative event, it makes sense to have things take place on this map.

Finally, when you're on World's Edge, you need to be looking out for a White Raven. This is going to be the triggering factor for the Bloodhound event and the challenges it brings - if you don't find one, you can't start.

THINGS TO NOTE - Important information

There's more to the Bloodhound event than just finding a White Raven - and there's also a few other things you should keep in mind if you're planning to start working your way through the "Old Ways, New Dawn" quests...

If you're worried about another Bloodhound getting to the White Raven first, don't be. Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that players will be able to overlap when they are participating in these event challenges.

" Players are assigned unique paths to chase, so even if multiple Bloodhound players are going for the challenge at the same time, they’ll be able to avoid overlap with others."

In addition to this, if you die mid-run - as this is still going to be a non-ranked BR match after all - you can actually pick up the trail where you left off. There's going to be a series of checkpoints that save your progress.
