It's a connectivity issue, one that mainly stems from server issues due to Apex Legends' servers being over their capacity, technical glitches, or things of the like.

How to fix Apex Legends Error Code 100
There are several ways to go about fixing Apex Legends' Error Code 100.
Here is what we've found to work best.
Check Apex Legends Server Status
The first thing you can do is check Apex Legends' server status. This can be done by going to the official Apex Legends Twitter as the account usually updates the player base with any server issue.
Troubleshoot your Internet Connection
If the servers are up on Apex Legends' end it's time to look at your internet connection. First and foremost, check if your platform of choice is connected to the internet, if not, connect it, if so, move on to restarting your router.
You can restart your router by unplugging it for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. Once that's done, reload the game.
Check your Console's Network Status
Non-PC users can check their designation console's network status. By going to either Xbox Live's network status website or PlayStation's, you can check if there are any ongoing server issues with the respective networks.
Each website will have its own checkboxes notifying what part of the servers are working or not.
Swapping to a different DNS
If you've tried all of the above and are still experiencing issues try swapping your Domain Name Server or DNS.
- For PC, here are the steps:
- Press WIN + R to open the control box and type in ncpa.cpl
- Right-click your internet connection when Network Connections appear
- Click on Properties
- Double Click on Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4)
- Select "Use the following DNS server addresses"
- Type in 8.8.8.8 for "Preferred DNS server" and 8.8.4.4 for "Alternative DNS server"
- Click OK and restart y our PC
- For PlayStation or Xbox, here are the steps:
- Access your console's Network Settings
- PlayStation users can do this by heading to Settings, navigating to Network, and selecting Set up Internet Connection
- Xbox users can do this by going to Settings, Network, Advanced Settings, and DNS Settings
- Change the following
- Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
- Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
- MTU parameter: Auto
- DNS Settings: Manual
- Proxy server: do not use
- Access your console's Network Settings
Restart your PC or Console
When all else fails, restart your PC or Console. You can go about it in two ways, do the regular restart or unplug your platform for about 30 seconds to a minute.
