How To Change Formation in UFL
Changing formations in UFL is actually quite easy. You only need to press the LT or L2 button to access the game plan menu, and then click the RB or R1 to access the formation menu.
There, you will find plenty of formations to choose from. You can choose different formations for the three-game plans, which are balanced, attacking, and defensive.
This means you can start with a 4-4-2 on balanced, switch to a 4-3-3 on attacking, and use a 5-3-2 on defensive. Furthermore, you can change the defensive depth, width, attacking style, and attacking width, on each formation.
The same can be done to the player's duties, which are very impactful to how your players will behave on both attack and defense.
