Hackers have been a huge problem in EA FC 25, especially on PC, forcing console players to turn off cross-platform and making FUT Champions a nightmare for PC players.
The EA FC 25 gameplay is currently not in a great place, to put it nicely, something the recently released FC 25 Title Update 7 will hopefully be able to fix. However, hackers can make the gameplay feel 1000 times worse, making playing EA FC 25 feel like hell, more than usual at least.
But in which way do hackers affect the gameplay? Why are they doing it? Is there a way to fix this huge problem? Let's find out!
Hackers Make Playing on PC an Unbearable Experience
If you're a PC player or if you play on a console with cross-platform on, chances are you have faced a hacker already, especially if you play FUT Champions regularly.
There are plenty of ways hackers can impact the game. The most used hack is the disconnect one, where hackers will take a goal lead and immediately disconnect you from the match, securing an easy win.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg. We also have hacks that prevent your players from sprinting, make your defensive AI drastically worse, and make power shoots indefensible.
Hackers are incredibly common on FUT Champions, particularly on PC. While you can just turn off cross-platform on consoles and try to enjoy the gameplay, that's not possible on PC. This makes playing FUT Champions on PC unsufferable.
If you are a good EA FC 25 PC player who's aiming to reach 15 wins on FUT Champions, good luck. You will without a doubt play against a hacker that will end that dream pretty quickly.
So you have hackers making the most competitive mode in EA FC 25 unplayable just to get to 15 wins and ruining the fun of millions of players along the way. Because of that, players feel disincentivized from playing FUT Champions, which makes playing Ultimate Team pointless as a whole.
Now you have hackers battling other hackers to get to 15 wins and collect the best rewards possible, while normal players don't even bother to play the mode anymore. Isn't that great?
Are Boosting Services Part of the Problem?
We don't have enough evidence to say boosting services are behind this gigantic wave of hackers that is plaguing EA FC 25. However, when you have services that guarantee rank 1 on FUT Champions, for all consoles, and you have these many hackers in the game, it's at least suspect.
Getting rank 1 on FUT Champions isn't exactly easy. While most of the boosting services use pro players, or at least they claim so, even pros lose games. Furthermore, when you are 10-0 or 11-0 the chances of facing another pro are quite high.
So there is a chance at least some of the boosting services are using hacks, especially if they provide services for PC. Once again, there is no concrete proof of this, it's just a conjecture.
Players shouldn't have to be prevented from enjoying a feature of the game, cross-platform, just so they can have a fair gaming experience. As for PC players, they shouldn't be discouraged from playing Ultimate Team because some players are using third-party programs to ruin their experience.
All in all, hacks make a game that is already not fun to play feel like a miserable experience. EA Sports FC needs to do something about this as fast as possible, as it's affecting a considerable part of the player base.
