How to Upgrade Your Hideout in Hood: Outlaws and Legends

Hood: Outlaws and Legends is a brutal multiplayer game with a focus on cooperation and taking down your enemy.

To get an up on your opponent, you have to take advantage of the environment, the AI, and your ability to prepare yourself beforehand. This is exactly what the hideout is used for.

What Does the Hideout Do?

Hood is all about getting into brutal matches and getting out quick. The hideout is where you hang out in between matches.

You can search for other players, upgrade your characters, practice your moves and a bunch more. It works as your hub for a little bit of breathing room.

For this reason, upgrading it is important. Alongside your character and player rank, the hideout can be upgraded to allow you a greater sense of customization.

This will give you more skins for your characters and weapons. It's a small change but one that helps make the game feel like your own.

How to Upgrade the Hideout

After matches, you will earn an amount of gold equivalent to how well you and your team performed. If you earned a lot and cranked the treasure at the end, you will receive a large amount. If you don't, you will get a little.

After telling you how much you've earned, you are met with the chance to pocket it or give it to the poor, similar to the tale of Robin Hood himself. You are stealing from the state to redistribute among the poor.

As you might have guessed by now, donating to the poor is how you upgrade your hideout.

It happens automatically as you donate. On the other hand, pocketing the gold allows you to actually purchase upgrades for the future. For the best outcome, you might want to equally share the profits and slowly build up a little bit of everything.
