Hogwarts Legacy is here, and it's been an absolute treat for Harry Potter fans and gamers alike. The most ambitious adaptation yet of the Wizarding World features a fully explorable world, and much more, set in a time period not yet documented.
PlayStation 4 and 5 users will be receiving the game on release, along with all other platforms, but will premium subscribers get the game for free? Here's everything you need to know about what extra content PlayStation players will be able to get their hands on.

Will Hogwarts Legacy be on PlayStation Plus?
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the game will be coming to any tier of PlayStation Plus at launch. It's very rare that titles come to the service on launch, and we've yet to see a AAA release arrive on the subscription service before it's been out for some time.
Sony has said that it simply doesn't see the value of bringing Blockbuster games to the service at launch, preferring to deal in exclusive titles and content. Hogwarts Legacy will be no different.
Given that a number of other Warner Bros titles are currently available though, it's definitely a possibility that subscribers could get the game free at some stage. This would likely be a way down the line though, towards or in 2024.
PlayStation Exclusive Content
PlayStation players will be receiving some exclusive extra content in Hogwarts Legacy when it releases in February. Rather than a timed exclusive to the console, or any cosmetics, players will get some extra gameplay, which is a refreshing way to reward users.
The exclusive will come in the form of an extras quest line, set in Hogsmeade, and is expected to have a spooky theme behind it. "Watch your step - not everyone who enters is able to escape the darkness," says the video description for the Hogwarts Legacy content's trailer.
