We find ourselves living in strange times right now as the releases of Call of Duty: Vanguard, Battlefield 2042 and the GTA: Definitive Trilogy are all struggling for various reasons. Enter, Halo.
Late last night rumours began circulating that Halo Infinite's multiplayer mode could be released on Monday, 15 November. It's also the date that Halo turns 20!
In addition to the rumours, leaks then began and credible data sources started to show that code from the Xbox store and within Halo's Waypoint API show a release date of 15-11-2021. The evidence is starting to pile up so we're waiting in anticipation as we could see its release in just a few days time.
Halo Infinite Multiplayer Release Countdown
If the leaks are to be believed - and there's no reason suggesting they shouldn't - then we will be hands-on win Halo Infinite from Monday, 15 November. While it's been hard to keep tabs on the number of leaks suggesting its release, we're still unsure of what the exact time would be.
Halo Infinite Multiplayer COUNTDOWN (rumoured)
To play it safe, we suggest that the game would most likely go live at 10:00 PT / 18:00 GMT rather than a midnight world release. This is beacuse we believe the announcement could be made during the Xbox 20th Anniversary Live Stream event.
Leaks & Rumours
As we've already mentioned, there are a lot of leaks to work with so far. Some come from Xbox store code and the most recent is directly from the Halo API. As you can see in the below tweet, the release date is set for 15 November.
Halo Infinite has not held this release date at any point so it suggests that a surprise release on it's birthday was/is the plan. Of course, this still could be old data from a previous plan but you imagine it would have been updated by now.
