The GTA Online Weekly Update for September 23 is due to go live this morning, but the servers are currently down on a few different platforms.
It's not clear what's causing the issues, but fans have been reporting being unable to log in for about an hour now.
GTA Online Servers DOWN - September 23
As you can see from the tweet from @GTAonlineNews down below, the servers are down on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and of course those versions being played on next-gen consoles.
As we hear more about what's happening with the servers, we'll be sure to update you. For now, it seems to be an issue on Rockstar's end.
Latest Update - There's a workaround
There seems to be a workaround for players on PlayStation and Xbox that allows them to log into GTA Online.
If you go into story mode in GTA 5, select Creator, and then log in from there, it should work. This won't work for PC players though.
PC Workaround
Now, a workaround for PC players has also been found.
What you need to do is go to story mode, go to Creator, select exit to story mode, select Solo GTA Online session, and then select public session. You can follow the video below for more details.
Of course, since a lot of players won't know this workaround, the servers are likely to be empty even if you do get in.
Delays to Weekly Update
What all this means is that the weekly update for September 23 has not gone live yet.
If you check in game, the Podium vehicle, discounts, and more, they're the same as last week's.
As soon as they update in-game, we'll be sure to let you know.
