Genshin Impact has only been around for a few weeks but it's making waves already.
The free-to-play action RPG game is an amazing open-world title that is reminiscent of Breath of the Wild.
Now the developers have posted an update about future content!
Unique events
Developer MiHoYo has made a pretty clear statement about future plans within Genshin Impact.
One of the big features will be the incorporation of cultural events that will conicide with real-world dates that are already in the calendar.

The example given is Ludi Harpastum and the Windbloom Festival in Mondstadt, and Lantern Rite and the Moonchase Festival in Liyue.
Regular updates
The forum post also promised regular updates to the game which will bring in the events.
Version 1.1 has an estimated arrival date of 11 November and will host the Unreconciled Stars event.
Six weeks later version 1.2 will land, with a rough date of 23 December it will be a nice Christmas present for players. This is when a new area will be unveiled! Dragonspine will also get a related event.
Version 1.3 has a planned release in February 2021 when the Lantern Rite event will come into the game.
How to get Genshin Impact
You can download Genshin Impact for free from the PlayStation Store for PS4 or on the official site for PC.
It's also available through the Apple Store on iOS and through Google Play for Android.
It is not currently available on Xbox or Nintendo Switch.
