Genshin Impact players from Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 are experiencing problems trying to enter the game.
While they are on the Log-In screen, players are receiving the following error message: “Third party account not yet registered”. Here everything we know about this error.
Third party account not yet registered
Many Genshin Impact players have been unable to access the game on Playstation consoles due to the new error message on log in attempts.
This brought a bit of a panic, as the error message could imply that their miHoYo account and PSN account were unlinked, and some of their information was lost.
However, there is no reason to Panic. Player information and accounts are safe, and the error message is simply a technical problem.
What is the Problem?
Players have not received answers from the Genshin Impact support in English yet, however, the Japanese Twitter account of Genshin Impact explained that this problem is related to Sony Servers and the PSN system.
This is the version in English of the message of the Genshin Impact Japanese Account:
"Currently, due to PSN failure, we have confirmed that some travelers who are using the PlayStation version of "Genshin" cannot use the service. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we would appreciate it if you could wait until the restoration"
How To Fix "Third Part Account Not Yet Registered" Error Message
Apparently, there is not much that players can do at the moment. The only option, for now, is patiently wait, knowing their account is safe and sound - and this has worked as many users are able to access Genshin Impact on Playstation consoles again.
The PSN team is working to fix this issue permanently and seems to have succeeded for now.
Genshin Impact is available for PS4, PS5, PC a mobile version is also available in IOS and Android with a Cross Save option among all platforms which means you can make progress while the error is happening on Playstation.
