Despite only being in existence for just over a month, Genshin Impact will be ready for the PlayStation 5's arrival later this November.
With the first big patch on the way - Version 1.1 - miHoYo is will use the update to level up to the Next Gen console.

What we know so far
With the PS5 arriving in selected countries on Thursday, 12 November and Version Impact Version 1.1 releasing on Wednesday, 11 November - you can see why the update brings with it PS5 compatibility.
For those expecting any new features for PS5 then think again, with the PS4 game only being backwards compatible on the Next Gen console.
It will have reduced loading time and enhanced graphics however, but it still remains to be seen if the Chinese company will release a version in the future that makes the most of PS5's improved tech.
Going Seasonal
Version 1.1 will also bring Genshin its first season event - Reconciled Stars.
It will feature Teyvat facing "sudden and terrible catastrophe" with new quests allowing players to unlock four-star Electo character Fischl.
More regular quests, characters and a new per-city reputation system will be on the way, allowing you to to unlock items in the various regions.
Genshin Impact Version 1.1 will arrive on Wednesday, 11 November on PS4, PC and mobile - and PS5 the very next day!
