Genshin Impact 2.5 is just a couple of weeks away and new details keep on trickling in. We already know the 5-stars characters of the Banner, and now it's the Weapon Banners' turn.
Some weeks ago we received news of a new Catalyst called Kagura's Verity the signature weapon of Yae Miko.
Rumors indicate that along with this new Catalyst travelers will witness the return of the very powerful Sword, Primordial Jade Cutter.
These two aren't the only weapons and artifacts travelers can expect in the next update!
Here is everything we know in regard to weapons in Genshin Impact 2.5.
Release Date
Genshin Impact 2.5 will go live on February 16, 2022, running until March 30, 2022.
The update's release time breaks down to the following:
- 11:00 a.m. Server Time (Chinese Standard Time) - February 16th
- 7:00 p.m. PDT - February 15th
- 10:00 p.m EST - February 15th
On launch day, servers will be down for around five hours. Players will receive 300 Primogems as compensation for this time, and more if the downtime is extended.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Weapons
Genshin Impact 2.5 will introduce two new catalysts, one from the Gacha System and another F2P, as rewards of Three Realms Gateway Offering, the main event in the ver. 2.5
Along with these two new weapons, leaks indicate the return of what is considered the best sword in the game, the Primordial Jade Cutter.
The other two weapons that will return in the weapon Banners will be the Signature Polearm of Baal, the Engulfing Lighting, and the Signature Catalyst of Kokomi the Everlasting Moonglow.
If the last updates were about Polearms, apparently Genshin Impact 2.5 will have a plethora of Catalysts in their place.

- Kagura's Verity is the signature of Yae Miko, the weapon will increase the DMG of Elemental Skills.
- Best for Yae Miko, Ningguang
- Oathsworn Eye, this weapon is a F2P Catalyst that will high ATK base, considering a 4-star weapon. The extra Energy Recharge of its passive make this weapon very viable.
- It is possible the best option F2P, for Yae Miko.
- Best for Kokomi, Sucrose
Kagura's Verity and Oathsworn Eye

Ascension Material Kagura's Verity
- Mask Series - Weapon ascension material that players can obtain in the domain Court of Flowing Sand in Inazuma.
- On Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Concealed Pieces - Common Material drop by the Rifthounds.
- Spectral Pieces - Common material drop by the Specters.
Ascension Material Oathsworn Eye
These are the ascension materials for the new Free Catalyst:
- Branch of Distant Sea Series - Weapon material that players can obtain in the domain Court of Flowing Sand in Inazuma.
- On Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.
- Concealed Pieces - Common Material drop by the Rifthounds.
- Spectral Pieces - Common material drop by the Specters.
