Event Duration:
The Passage of Clouds and Stars event starts on September 28th, 2021 and will continue until the end of the Genshin Impact 2.1 update.
Event Details
During the event, players can log in cumulatively to receive rewards such as Mora, EXP Materials, and most importantly, 10 Intertwined Fates.
Intertwined Fates are used to wish for Character Banners. For every 10 wishes, players are guaranteed to receive a 4 star character or weapon.

Ayaka's Invitation
The leader of the Kamisato Clan in Inazuma, Ayaka sent a letter for the traveler; including some Sakura Bloom and one meal of Snow on The Hearth.
The letter talks about a new trail which turns into a sea of pink when the flowers bloom. People can see fireworks from there.
In the letter, there is also an invitation saying that Ayaka would like to see the Traveler and Paimon tonight, under the Sakura Tree.
Latest - Birthday Surprise?
Is this an Anniversary Surprise from miHoYo? The Kamisato Ayaka character has the particularity to celebrate her birthday on 28th of September, the same day that Genshin Impact was released.
Unfortunately, this is just a symbolic invitation. There is no meeting with Ayaka. Instead, miHoYo gives players a video recap of their days in Genshin Impact and 60 Primogems in the event An Unforgettable Journey.
