Ahoy, Travelers! Genshin Impact's next major title update is on the way and miHoYo are going above and beyond to usher in the next iteration of their popular gacha game. Genshin Impact 2.0 is going to need a download with a size worth knowing about, though. Here's everything we know about how much storage space you're going to need to clear out for it.
How Much Storage Space Do You Need?
At the moment, we really don't know how much storage space Genshin Impact 2.0 is going to need. A download of that size, adding everything Genshin Impact 2.0 plans to add, could be absolutely huge.
Genshin Impact 1.6, the previous title update, was around 8GB in size on PC and 1.5GB on mobile devices.
The total size of Genshin Impact varies and is dependent on the platform, but it can stretch up to between 30GB - 40GB. With the amount of content in mind, we could see Genshin Impact 2.0 offering up a download that's around 15GB in size, if not more.
When Does Genshin Impact 2.0 Come Out?
The next Genshin Impact title update is due to release on July 21st. Inazuma, the third of Genshin Impact's seven major cities, is due to arrive in-game and there's a lot on offer.
There's going to be new quests, storylines, playable characters, adventures, and equipment to uncover in Teyvat's new kingdom. Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon and ruler of Inazuma, pursues eternity above all else. Will they find it? That's for you to find out with the help of Paimon and your team.
New friends and dangerous enemies will help and hinder your journey, but it will be one to remember if what we know is anything to go by.
That isn't even all, though. Only three of Inazuma's six islands are being released next week. We know miHoYo has more up their sleeves and the "2.0" iteration of Genshin Impact is going to be well worth playing.
