Genshin Impact 2.4 is in full swing, bringing a new region and brand new events to the game as well as some exciting Banners!

Genshin Impact 2.4 banners offer some great characters including the newly released Shenhe, as well as the return of Zhong-Li, Ganyu, and Xiao. Here's what you should know about it.

LATEST: Ganyu and Zhongli Banners COUNTDOWN

We're just hours out from the second phase Genshin Impact version 2.4 banners, featuring Ganyu and Zhongli reruns along with 3 other 4-star characters as well, Beidou, Yanfei, and Xinqui.

These banners will be live available at:

January 25, 5:00 p.m GMT
January 25, 6:00 p.m. EST
January 25, 3:00 p.m. PT

Genshin Impact 2.4 Windtrace Event is LIVE!

Windtrace is the rerun of a very popular Genshin Impact event. The event is basically a game of childhood Hide and Seek.

There are two sides, Hunters that track and chase down the Rebels that hide. The Rebels gain the power to disguise and mimic their environment which makes for a tricky hunt.

The game allows cooperative mode, so prepare to beat your friends or test your might against other random Travelers.

Windtrace will run from January 13, 2022, to January 27, 2022 - so make sure not to miss it, there are 420 Free Primogems.

Genshin Impact 2.4 Banners

First Banner Launch

Genshin Impact's 2.4 first half banners will arrive on January 5, 2022.

The Transcendent One Returns - Shenhe 5-star Cryo, Polearm User
Invitation to Mundane Life - Xiao 5-star Anemo, Polearm User
Both Banners will share the following 4-stars characters:
- Yun Jin - 4-star Geo, Polearm User (New Character)
- Ningguang - 4-star Geo, Catalyst User
- Chongyun - 4-star Cryo, Claymore User

The first weapon banner has two Polearms Calamity Queller and Primordial Jade Winged-Spear

And the following 4-star weapons:

Favonius Warbow (Bow)
The Flute (Sword)
Lithic Spear (Polearm)
Widsith (Catalyst)
Favonius Greatsword (Claymore)

Second Banner Launch

Genshin Impact's 2.4 second half banners will arrive on January 26, 2022.

Adrift in the Harbor - Featuring Ganyu 5-star Cryo, Bow User
Gentry of Hermitage - Featuring Zhong-Li 5-Star Geo, Polearm User
Both Banners will share the following 4-stars characters:
- Xingqiu- 4-star Hydro, Sword User
- Beidou - 4-star Electro, Claymore User
- Yanfei - 4-star Pyro, Catalyst User

The second weapon banner will feature Vortex Vanquisher, and Amos' Bow

Map Changes

Enkanomiya is set to be the latest area added to Genshin Impact. An underground area beneath Inazuma will have an alternating cycle of Evernight and Whitenight that affects the appearance of nine different subareas.

New Bosses

Two new bosses will arrive with Genshin Impact 2.4. The Primordial Bathysmal Vishaps are beasts with amphibious physiology that harness Cryo, Hydro, and Electro Elements.

Known as the Rimebitter Bathysmal Vishap and Bolteater Bathysmal Vishap, these bosses will drop the world material: Dragonheir's False Fin material used to level-up Shenhe.

New Weapons and Artifacts

Genshin Impact 2.4 is releasing a new 5-star Polearm from the Gacha System. The Calamity Queller is the signature weapon of Shenhe.

Calamity Queller

Max ATK - 741
Secondary stat - 16.5% ATK
Passive R5: Gain 24% Bonus on all elemental DMG. When activating Elemental Skill gain Consummation: 20 seconds of gradually increasing ATK 6.4%. Can stack 6 times.
When the user is outfield, the consummation bonus is doubled.

Along the Calamity Queller, the first weapon banner will feature the 5-star polearm Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, and the following 4-star weapons:

Genshin Impact Keqing Skin — Genshin Impact 2.4 new outifts

New Outfits

Skins for Keqing and Ningguang are on the way, prices similarly to Jean's currently available outfit.

While Ningguang's skin is free, by taking part in the Fleeting Colors in Flight . Keqing's skin will be available in the in-game shop for 1350 Genesis Crystals, roughly $20.

New Events

Genshin Impact 2.4 is bringing a batch of new events and some fan favorites re-runs:

Archon Quest Interlude: Act 1 The Cranes Return on the Winds
Hangout Series V: Ningguang and Yun Jin
The return of the Lantern Rite Festival
- This event will give players a Ningguang's skin and a Free 4-star Liyue character of their preference. (Including Yun jin)
- Players will battle an Event Boss that looks like Osial, a three head Water Hydra.
Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas (Kichiboushi outing event)
The return of Windtrace, with new Hide and Seek Locations.
A Study in Potions - Combat Challenge using potions to boost team compositions. (Includes trial Characters)
