Fortnite's festive event for 2021 is going to be one you're going to want to check out. The Winterfest Event is introducing a new LTM with free rewards and additional challenges, but there are also some new cosmetics worth checking out. If you want to get your hands on the new Blizzabelle skin, we have everything you need to know.
LATEST - Blizzabelle Now Available!
Fortnite have confirmed that Blizzabelle is now avaialble for players who log into the game. She will be around until 6 January.
Blizzabelle Release Time
Blizzabelle will be released at 16:00 GMT / 11:00 EST / 08:00 PST as part of Winterfest 2021's launch window. Her skin and quests will be live and free to claim from this time.
How to get the new Blizzabelle Skin in Fortnite
We don't have confirmation of this just yet, but ShiinaBR - a notable leaker and data miner who's right more often than not - has shared the following statement.
" The "Blizzabelle" outfit will be available for all Epic Games Launcher users from December 16 until January 6.
You can check out the tweet itself below - this is the only information we have regarding this at the moment, but we're expecting it to be announced fully via Fortnite's social media channels soon.
For the duration of Fortnite's 2021 Winterfest Event, there's going to be a free skin available exclusively for players who play Fortnite on PC through the Epic Games Store Launcher.
At the moment, we're not sure how this is going to work - we could see the Blizzabelle Skin available as an Epic Games Store download or it could trigger as an in-game reward when you load up Fortnite. We're guessing Epic Games has the technology to tell Fortnite when you're playing it on PC and not on a Nintendo Switch, for example.
There's no news on whether this skin will be making it to the Fortnite Item Store anytime soon, but you shouldn't rule it out. That being said, it doesn't make it as much of an exclusive skin if everyone can buy them.
Fortnite's Winterfest Event is going to start on December 16th, 2021 and should be available until January 6th, 2022. Who knows, we might see Epic Games extend the event... It's not impossible.
