Fortnite Update 22.10 Release Time
Fortnite Update 22.10 will begin on Tuesday, 4 October at 1 am PT / 4 am ET / 9 am BST / 10 am CEST. This is when you can expect servers to go offline and you will be unable to boot Fortnite until the update is complete.
Matchmaking will be disabled around 30 minutes prior to the update. This allows all in-progress games to be completed before servers go down. Patch notes will be released a few hours after the update is complete and will detail the major changes made during 22.10.
What to Expect
It's always hard to judge what could arrive in the first update of a brand new season. We expect Fortnite Update 22.10 to consist mainly of bug fixes and also possibly bring us some encrypted data that will eventually become Fortnitemares content.
Beyond these two obvious possibilities, we really don't know what will change in Fortnite Update 22.10 until it happens! You can check out the official Fortnite Trello to stay up to date on the latest in-game issues that Epic are working to fix.
With rumours circulating of a Luke Skywalker skin coming to the game, we would love to see more about this in the update. While it may still be a little too soon, it would make sense to perhaps try and capitalise on the popularity of the new show, Andor, by releasing another major Star Wars collab.
