Sadly, we are nearly at the end of Season 7 and this is signified by the final Fortnite Update which is live now. As we wind down in this alien-infested season, updates have slowed down a little.
That's not to say that Update 17.50 hasn't brought us some massive changes and even a special Fortnite end of season event, due to start soon.
Here's everything we know about Fortnite Update 17.50 ahead of its imminent release...
Latest - Patch Notes/Changes Listed
Fortnite has publishes the changes that have been made as of Update 17.50. The below Twitter thread can be looked at to see the main changes that have taken place.

Is the Mothership coming down
Some Doctor Slone text hints that the Mothership could soon be taken down. Are we about to launch the ultimate offensive against the Alien Invasion?
Update File Size revealed
Update files are now live on PC and come in at a respectable 2.15GB. Consoles should be around the same figure.
Once the files are live, more info tends to leak about what is contained in the update.
Fortnite Legacy Crew Pack revealed
A brand new offering for the monthly Crew Pack subscription is coming. It will offer a 6-stage back bling and pickaxe that only evolve if you stay subscribed.
New Mode Selection menu coming
A brand new mode selection menu has already leaked prior to servers going down.
It looks like there could be more visual updates coming before Season 8 begins.
Fortnite Update 17.50 Release Date
It's expected that Fortnite Update 17.50 will drop on Tuesday, 31 August. All of the previous Season 7 Updates have been on a Tuesday also.
Servers should go down at around 09:00 BST / 04:00 EST / 01:00 PST to begin the update patch. Once servers are down, we expect they will remain that way for up to 2 hours.
What to expect in Update 17.50
There's still plenty happening in Fortnite Season 7 even as it comes to a close. We still expect another POI abduction when 17.50 goes live. One big possibility is that The Cube, also known as Kevin, might be returning.
The Cube first appeared in 2018 and there has been plenty of content fuelled by The Cubes lore and powers ever since. A glimpse of it was caught during the Rift Tour which showed it appearing in the future. Many have put 2 and 2 together to say that it may play a part in the transition into Season 8's theme.
As always, if you're looking for an idea on what may be addressed in the next Fortnite Update, the Community Trello Board is a great place to start. This is where community members can post the issues they're facing in-game and Epic take it on board. Large parts of previous updates have featured fixes from here.
