With the release of the Uncharted movie this week, the Uncharted crossover has been going on in Fortnite for a few days. Following the skins that were revealed over the weekend, an Uncharted Treasure Map has been added to Fortnite with the 19.30 update. We have all the details you need about the new item.
How to Get Uncharted Treasure Map in Fortnite
We're still trying to confirm this information, but as far as we know they work like buried treasure maps did in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.
In that season, you'd find Buried Treasure maps in chests around the island, so it'll probably be the same case for Drake's Maps. Simply pick it up and you'll be able to start the hunt.
How to Find Drake's Treasure
The description of the Drake's Map item simply reads: "follow the dotted line to find uncharted fortunes."
In-game, what you need to do is bring up the treasure map when it's in your inventory and then keep an eye out for a dotted line that'll show on the ground.
What that is doing is showing you the direction to the treasure. You'll need to keep using the treasure map to bring up the dotted line and ensure you don't get lost.
Once you've spotted a golden glowing section of the ground, you should have found the treaure. There will also be an X on the spot that was glowing.
Then, all you need to do is use your pickaxe on the X until the treasure appears above ground.
Then, just grab Drake's loot and continue on your quest for the Victory Royale.
