The first cup kicks off this Saturday, October 2, so jump into Arena to practice! Check the in-game Compete Tab to find when your region’s Fortnite PlayStation Cup begins."

Fortnite PlayStation Cup Start Times

The PlayStation Cup, which is a solo cup, will begin on October 2 and will take the format of two rounds in Season 8.

While the official page says "check the in-game" in regards to the start time, the in-game event tab states that Session 1 will be between 16:00 - 19:00 BST. If you qualify, Session 2 will take place between 20:00 - 23:00 BST

Rules and Prizes

In the first round, you’ll have 3 hours to play a maximum of 10 games to try and earn points. The top 100 players in each region will then make it through to Round 2.

Those top 100 players will then have 6 matches to get points once more, with the best performers getting cash prizes.

You can see the full point and prize breakdowns for all regions on the Epic Games official PlayStation Cup page.

Also, it's worth noting that you'll need to have two-factor authentication turned on to enter the Cup on time. It's best to do that as early as possible.

As soon as the first round is live, we'll let you know.
