The J Balvin Cup is nearly upon us and Fortnite is giving fans the chance to once again win an iconic skin using nothing but your skills.
If you think you're good enough to earn the skin through the J Blavin Cup, then you're going to need to know when to show up and play! Here's when the J Balvin Cup starts in Fortnite.
BREAKING - J Balvin Cup Delayed by One Hour
The J Balvin Cup has been delayed by one hour due to ongoing issues in Arena and Competitive modes.
J Balvin Cup Start Time
The J Balvin Cup will start at 18:00 BST on Tuesday, 24 August. It will be a three-hour window, like previous cups, where your goal is to earn as many points as possible from a maximum of 10 games played.
The tournament will end at 21:00 BST so make sure you've played your allocated games by this time. To earn points you need the best finishes possible and as many eliminations as possible. If you rank among the best players come the end of the tournament, you'll be declared a winner of the J Balvin Cup and earn his skin for free.
Given that the J Balvin Cup is a duos tournament, you may want to grab a friend who's half-decent at Fortnite for the best chance at winning. Matchmaking is available in these Cups should you need it though.
How to register for the J Balvin Cup
In order to make sure you can participate in the J Balvin Cup, your Epic account will need to be level 30. This can be checked in the Career tab in the Fortnite lobby.
Beyond this, you'll also need to have 2-Factor Authentication live on your account for security purposes. Failure to meet either of these criteria will result in you being unable to queue for the J Balvin Cup.
Don't worry if you aren't sure how to activate 2FA on your Epic account as they have provided a hand guide on how to sort this out. Provided that it is live before the tournament starts, you should have no issues entering.
