When is Fortnite's 5th Birthday?
Fortnite will celebrate its 5th Birthday on Monday, 26 September. As for when any potential event begins, it could be as early as a week before.
With Fortnite Season 4 having only just begun, it's hard to know exactly when the quests and rewards will be live in-game. As soon as we know more, we'll keep you updated.
Fortnite 5th Birthday Quests
Taking a look at the files that have been added during Update 22.00, we can see that there are three quests to complete during the Fortnite 5th Birthday event. More could be added in the future but these celebration events usually only have a few quests so it's not a guarantee.
- Use Balloons in a single match 0/5 - Reward: Sparklecake Spray
- Consume Birthday Cake in different matches 0/5 - Reward: Fuzzfetti Cake Back Bling
- Throw Birthday Presents 0/5 - Reward: Birthday Pickaxe
It appears that the event will only be small in scale, as expected. All items associated with the quests (balloons, cake, presents) will be added to the game during the event.
Fortnite 5th Birthday Rewards & Free Items
We currently know that three items will be added to Fortnite as rewards for the 5th Birthday celebrations. It's possible that a small log-in reward is also added in closer to the time but, for now, the only way to earn rewards will be by completing the quests.
The battle bus will be decorated to commemorate the event and supply drops will also receive a small visual overhaul.
