It's been a long time coming, but the BRUTE Mech is back in Fortnite - almost - and we can't wait for it to be unlocked. Here's everything you need to know about how you can get the BRUTE Mech in Fortnite following update 18.40.
BRUTE MECH - How to get one now?
At the moment, the BRUTE Mech is locked in Fortnite. However, this won't last forever. Much like the Grappler, the BRUTE Mech is going to be "unvaulted" and added to Fortnite if players can meet the Gold Bar Donations requirement set by Chimpanski.
If you want to contribute to this, all you need to do is head to one of the Voting Boards in-game and donate as many Gold Bars as you can muster. The quicker everyone does this, the quicker we can all get our hands on the Brute Mech.
The BRUTE Mech was added to Fortnite in August 2019 and found itself quickly removed around two months later - this was explained in-game by a virus that caused them to explode on impact with the ground after landing.
BRUTE MECH - What do they do?
We don't know if the BRUTE Mech is returning in the same capacity as it was available previously, but it's going to be a force to be reckoned with if it is.
The BRUTE Mech was a two-player vehicle with several attacking options and 1,250 Hitpoints.
As a BRUTE Mech Pilot, you could dash, stomp, and jump in order to deal damage to opponents. As the BRUTE Mech Gunner, you had a shotgun-like weapon and a missile barrage attack. The BRUTE Mech could be countered with a Boogie Bomb, which would eject both players and the shield only protected the Gunner - so the Pilot was always exposed somewhat.
Are you looking forward to their return?
