More Customisation Options
Football Manager's previous options to customise your managerial avatar has been scarce in recent years, with many fans calling for different outfits, hairstyles, and other aesthetic tweaks to be added.
SI has obliged, announcing more ways to customise your look than ever before.
Face and Hair
Some brand new hairstyles have been added to the game, ranging from ponytails to the managerial goatee.
You'll have more choices than ever to make your avatar replicate your real-life appearance.
When creating a male manager, you will be shown six different tabs: Hair Style, Facial Shape, Facial Hair, Eyebrows, Eye Colour and Glasses.
Facial hair and eyebrows are brand new additions to FM22 and give you more customisation options than ever before.
Style
The choice of outfits has also increased for FM22, with SI moving away from the dropdown list layout.
Instead, you will be shown 10 different outfit variations, with the brand new RGB colour picker allowing you to create hundreds of alternate looks before settling on your favourite.
With the in-game editor now allowing you to change your appearance as your career progresses, these new aesthetic changes serve to enhance the overall immersive feeling of FM22.
New Draft Choices
Since the draft's arrival in Football Manager 2016, it's been through many different processes.
Whilst it's a game mode that desperately needed some TLC, fans still enjoyed being able to play out a fantasy draft with their mates.
This year, the draft experience has been improved dramatically.
Setting up your draft
More draft options have been added in order to allow FM22 players' imaginations to run wild.
From selecting each team's budget to tweaking the format of the competition, you now have more options than ever to create an immersive and exciting draft.
There will also be a new 'advanced settings' option available on the set-up page, allowing you to adjust competition rules and turn off VAR.
