There's still plenty going on in FIFA 22 with the Team of the Season (TOTS) promo underway in Ultimate Team, bringing us daily SBC and Objective content.
However, we're looking beyond the current game and ahead to FIFA 23 which will most likely be the last in the series between EA and FIFA.
Something we've all been needing in the beloved game mode, Pro Clubs, is a good way to warm up before our games.
Skill games already exist for multiplayer, so we feel EA could adjust the drills a little in order to create some active and fun ways to warm up before Pro Clubs league matches in FIFA 23.
Arena mode
Arena mode would be a fun and simple way to warm up whilst you're waiting for your teammates to launch Pro Clubs.
This is a single player exercise that can be implemented into Pro Clubs that will simply involve your pro against an AI goalkeeper.
Here, you can practice left-stick dribbling, try out new skill moves and perfect your timed finishing in a fun a nd relaxed environment.
If anything, Arena mode will keep you entertained whilst you wait for your teammates to hop online.
Set piece specialists
Here you would be able to train set-piece moves with your team mates whilst remaining in a training environment.
The in-game menu would allow you to create scenarios for corners, free kicks and lots of other set piece situatuions that occur in an actual game of FIFA.
This means you can practice special set-piece routines ahead of competitive tournaments, or fun and inventive ways to trick your opponents from dead ball scenarios.
Wembley Doubles
One training drill that can bring a competitive element into your training would be the option to play 'Wembley Doubles' or Singles in a training situation.
Wembley Doubles is typically used in real life as a competitive playground activity for young football players, but we feel it could trasnlate to FIFA Pro Clubs brilliantly.
Teams of two players will set up in a small area, perhaps a 20x20 yard box, with one goal and a goalkeeper in net.
The teams will attempt to work together to score a goal.
Once a team scores a goal they qualify for the next round and when only one team is remaining they are eliminated from the next round.
This process continues until you are left with a winner.
The introduction of Wembley Doubles and Singles to Pro Clubs training would not only allow you to perfect your skills in tight areas but can also provide some well-need restbite and fun whilst induring a difficlut league campaign.
