FFXIV 6.3 Patch Release Date
FFXIV 6.3 "Gods Revel, Lands Tremble" is confirmed to be released in early January 2023 according to this initial reveal.
While a specific date wasn't mentioned, likely being saved for the second part of the 6.3 reveal, we can make some educated guesses based on how FFXIV likes to do things.
Early January 2023 suggests that it will be in the first half of the month and with most updates landing alongside weekly resets, it's safe to assume that it will be arriving on a Tuesday.
This leaves us with three options for when the FFXIV 6.3 Patch could be added to the game, with the most likely candidate being Tuesday, 17th January 2023
6.3 Main Scenario Quests
FFXIV's Main Scenario Quests will continue in the 6.3 patch, with the currently ongoing plotline featuring Zero, Alphinaud and Alisaie set to continue.
The 6.2 update introduced nine main scenario quests so it's safe to assume that 6.3 will add a similar amount for FFXIV players. We also know that a new Instanced dungeon is to be added to the main Scenario by the name of Lapis Manalis.
6.3 Sidequests
Of course, any update worth it's salt will also feature a collection of sidequests and side stories for players to explore and 6.3 will see the continuation of some longer-running stories such as "Tataru's Grand Endeavor" which sees players helping the popular side character.
The second sidequest confirmed to continue is the "Tales of Newfound Adventure" quest line that was introduced in 6.2 and features the monster known as hecteyes at its centre so far.
6.3 Dungeons Trials, Alliance Raids Duties
As previously mentioned, the instanced dungeon added in the FFXIV 6.3 patch is a part of the Main Scenario Quests and goes by the name of Lapis Minalis.
Not much was revealed about the dungeon itself other than a pair of screenshots which show the interior of the dungeon which glows blue from all the crystals.
We also know that a new trial will be added but no information is known just yet.
The latest Alliance Raid as a part of the "Myths Of The Realm" series was also confirmed to be coming in the 6.3 patch, taking players to "Euphrosyne"
There will also be an ultimate duty released two weeks after the launch of Patch 6.3 but no information on it has been revealed just yet.
