Konami is about to introduce a brand new feature to eFootball named "Treasure Link," designed to bring fresh rewards and a social layer to the game. This update allows players to share objectives with opponents and friends, unlocking various prizes in the process.
What is a Treasure Link?
Treasure Link is essentially a reward board built around line objectives. During the campaign, every user will receive a unique Treasure Link that they can share with others through Online PvP matches or specific League modes.
Players can win rewards by fulfilling the objectives in each square. Strategy plays an essential role in determining which links you gather and retain because exceptional Line Rewards are unlocked by completing a line in any direction.
Types of Treasure Links
Not all Treasure Links are created equally. Their rarity is marked by background color:
- Blue (Basic): The most common type, distributed to the majority of players.
- Yellow (Big Winner): A rarer version that offers higher-value rewards.
- Pink (Special): Extremely rare and is often tied to special events or participation in unique campaigns.
Lucky players who receive "Big Winner" or "Special" Treasure Links are encouraged to share them with the wider community.
Slot Limitations
Players should be careful about their collection. Each account can hold up to four Treasure Links at once, one from simply logging in and the other three being received from others.
Importantly, once acquired, Treasure Links can't be removed to make room once they have been obtained. This means players will have to carefully consider which ones they want to keep throughout the campaign.
How to Share Treasure Links?
Sharing is central to the Treasure Link system:
- Online PvP Matches: You can share your favorite Treasure Link; it's time you play against an opponent.
- eFootball League (VS AI Category): Even those who prefer offline or AI matches can share and collect links.
- Co-op Matches: Each player is allowed to select one Treasure Link from their teammates, and others will be able to access theirs.
Your favorite Treasure Link is the only one that will be shared. This can be changed by players on the list screen.
These Treasure Links add an engaging new layer to eFootball, while blending traditional match play with collectible objectives. With limited slots, varying rarity, and social sharing at its core, the feature encourages both competition and community interaction.
