Konami has just announced that the latest eFootball 2023 update has gone live.
Version 2.1.1 will fix some small bugs, as well as some defensive positioning which made counterattacking too prevalent.

Release Date
The latest eFootball update went live on Thursday, 20 October, and was released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox X|S and PC.
As well as making improvements to the game, all users who install the update will receive a Chance Deal as thanks for the continued support.

The following issues have now been fixed in eFootball 2023:
Gameplay Fixes and Adjustments
- Fixed the issue where the Centre Back will position himself too high up the pitch when the team is attacking deep in the opposition half, making him vulnerable to counter-attacks
