EA has outlined its plans for the next major FC 25 Title Update as developers continue to take community feedback on board.
The planned changes were revealed following the release of Title Update 7, which became the first update to drop since First Frost in December. Let's take a look at what we can expect!
FC 25 Update Plans Revealed
Plans for the next FC 25 Title Update have been revealed by EA, with ground pass speed, goalkeeper positioning, and assisted shooting among some of the things that will be tweaked in the coming weeks.
Sharing the news on social media, EA confirmed that Title Update 8 will continue to focus on community feedback as further improvements are made to enhance the FC 25 experience for players.
In addition to expected bug fixes and performance-related patches, the next Title Update will address several areas of gameplay including, but not limited to:
- Ground pass speed
- Players without the ball catching up to the dribbler regardless of pace difference
- Keeper positioning
- Finesse shot playstyle balancing
- AI defender interceptions
- Tacklebacks
- Assisted Shooting (Lace & Finesse shots)
While not everyone reacted with the same pleasing response, the planned changes have gone down well with parts of the community, with many appreciating the clarity and focus on feedback.
"Appreciate you prioritizing community feedback", one comment read. Another reply said: "It's good to see this kind of communication from them for once! Previously we've had little to no communication from them regarding updates etc so this is a step in the right direction."
As players have pointed out themselves, this is a very refreshing approach from EA and one that we will hopefully continue to see moving forward.
Just like many of its predecessors, FC 25 has encountered several issues since it launched, but with open feedback and communication between developers and the community, the hope will be that future titles endure a much smoother experience.
