The DOTA 2 Arlington Major finished with the return of Team Spirit to the top. The winners of TI10 defeated PSG-LGD in a highly exciting final, and that has some big ramifications for The International 2022 (TI11).
The end of the last Major this year also brings to a conclusion the DOTA Pro Circuit 2022. Therefore, we know the Squads qualified directly to TI11 in Singapore, to be played in October of this year.
For these 12 teams, the preparation starts now. The rest will have to fight for a ticket to the International on the Regional & Open Qualifiers.
DOTA 2 TI11: All Qualified Teams
The International is not only the most important competition for DOTA players. But it is also one of the biggest e-sports competitions, with a viewership, that can compete with events like the Superbowl.
In the first editions, participants in the International arrived at the tournament via invitations. However, with the expansion and growth in the number of teams, Valve created the DOTA Pro Circuit in 2017.
The top 12 Squads in the DPC ranking at the end of the year secure their spot in Singapore.
DOTA teams work very hard around the year to avoid the Qualifiers, where tons of teams compete for only two Wildcard slots.
These are all the TI11 qualified teams via DPC after the Arlington Major Finals:
Position | Team Name | Points | Region |
---|---|---|---|
1st | PSG.LGD | 2,240 | China |
2nd | OG | 1,930 | Western Europe |
3rd | Team Spirit | 1,810 | Eastern Europe |
4th | Beastcoast | 1,810 | South America |
5th | Team Aster | 1,610 | China |
6th | Thunder Awaken | 1,540 | South America |
7th | BOOM Esports | 1,482.5 | South East Asia |
8th | TSM | 1380 | North America |
9th | Tundra Esports | 1,212 | Western Europe |
10th | Gaimin Gladiators | 1,130 | Western Europe |
West Europe is the region with the most teams, with three qualifiers including OG, Tundra, and Gaimin Gladiators.
Biggest Teams to Miss the Cut
The end of the DPC 2022 speaks of how competitive the Pro DOTA scene is right now. With some of the most influential teams and players at risk of watching TI11 from the audience.
NAVI and Team Liquid, both TI Champions, didn't manage to secure a spot in the first 12th of the DPC, despite participating in the Arlington Major.
Fnatic, RNG, and Entity lost their spots, even when they contended for the title during the playoffs.
For some players like Miracle, TI champion and for many people the best mid of all time or Puppey the only player in being in every International. The situation is not very promising, with their teams not even in the top 20 of DPC.
But that is DOTA, nothing is written in stone and everything can happen.
