There's a lot to unlock and you can find out about all of the Multiplayer Changes and Battle Royale Changes here. Undead Siege is due to start tomorrow, as planned.
When Does COD Mobile Come Out?
The next season of COD Mobile, Season 6 -The Heat, is going to launch on July 30th globally. At the moment, this teaser clip is all we really have...
If we look at last season's update, we can get a rough estimate of when to expect Season 6 - The Heat - to release. The next season of COD Mobile should be released on July 30th at 17:00 PST / 20:00 EST / 01:00 BST (July 31st).
There's going to be new weapons, a couple of new Operators, and a new Battle Pass for players to complete. Below is what we know about, expect more updates as we approach launch.
What Are We Expecting To See?
Undead Siege
" Deploy with your squad to the Isolated Battle Royale map, where you must survive against the undead over a period of five days and five nights. Scavenge for supplies and equipment during the day, and when the sun goes down, fight for your life against wave after wave of zombies as they attempt to dismantle your mobile base."
This new PvE mode is COD Mobile's second attempt at introducing Zombies into their mobile title. It blends Tower Defence mechanics with traditional Zombies gameplay for a thrilling experience that should keep everyone on their toes.
Undead Siege starts on July 31st and can be played to unlock rewards like Shorty - an Aether Machine Weapon Blueprint - and a Zombified Tank Dempsey Operator Skin. Later in the season, the FR. 556 - Undead Watcher Weapon Blueprint and a Zombified Edward Richtofen Operator Skin.
New Weapons
The Rytec AMR, a slow-firing heavy Sniper Rifle, and the MX9, a rapid-firing SMG, are going to both join COD Mobile in Season 6 - The Heat.
We don't know how they will both shape up against the existing armoury, but we should see some Patch Notes drop around the same time as the Season 6 launch to explain this.

Gameplay Setting Changes
One thing that will have a lot of people excited is the Ultra Frame Rate Support that's coming to COD Mobile in Season 6 - The Heat. This will enable 120 FPS support for COD Mobile but will limit the game to Medium Graphics Quality. It is also only available and applied to the Multiplayer modes in COD Mobile on compatible devices.
In addition to this, Kill Effects are coming to COD Mobile and will be applied to any weapon. They are as follows, according to a leaked screenshot:
- Classic Flash
- GFP Flash
- Apex Flash
- Classic Flare
- Tactical Flare
- Scientific Halo
- Scientific Ring
- Tactical Effect
The "Get-Hit Hint" is also getting new customisation options that should allow you to decide which colour the on-screen effect appears as.
New Operator Skill
Dynamic Armor is coming to COD Mobile. This will be somewhat similar to how Armor works in other Call of Duty titles and reduce incoming damage for a limited amount of time. There is currently no item description available on the COD Mobile Test Servers.
New Scorestreak
An upgraded version of the Hunter-Killer Drone is coming to COD Mobile in the form of Swarm. With this Scorestreak, you call in a "swarm of lethal Hunter-Killer drones". As you can see in the image below, there will be four drones instead of one. It will require you to hit an 1100 score before you can use it. This is due to be unlocked at Tier 14.
New Tactical Grenade
The Shield Grenade is joining the Flashbang and Smoke as a new Tactical Grenade in COD Mobile Season 6 - The Heat. With this, " a spherical barrier is generated at a designated location to block the enemy's line of sight". It should also block the enemy's bullets, which is useful.
The Shield Grenade Radius is 60 and its Duration is 75.
New Perk
At long last, Martyrdom is coming to COD Mobile. This perk is one everyone will be familiar with; It drops a live grenade when you die. This means you can get a kill from beyond the grave if you're lucky and should prove the perfect gift to whoever managed to best you.
New Playlist Changes
In addition to all this, there's going to be two new playlists in COD Mobile following the Season 6 update that introduces "The Heat". Face-Off and Stack are both coming to COD Mobile next season.
Black Ops Cold War players will know that Face-Off is a 3v3 moshpit mode that is played on smaller maps. In addition to this, Stack is actually the name of a Modern Warfare Gunfight map. This would suggest that Gunfight, a 2v2 elimination mode, is coming to COD Mobile (perhaps with a 24/7 Stack playlist).
In relation to the BR mode, Solid Gold is coming. This is being pitched as the following:
" Original old school Battle Royale. No classes, no revives. Every soldier for themselves."
As far as we're aware, this will be available in both Solos and Squads.
New Multiplayer Maps
Finally, there's a few new maps coming to COD Mobile in Season 6 - The Heat. Firstly, Monastary is being added to COD Mobile globally following its successful trial in the Chinese version of the game.
In addition to this, Stack is joining the Gunfight map rotation in Season 6; This map was first featured in Modern Warfare. Black Ops II's Slums is also due to show up.
" Duke it out in the streets and around the centre fountain, and whatever you do, check those corners!"
