Creating a build in NBA 2K25 is harder than it looks, as it takes time and knowledge.

Players need to choose their position, height, weight, and wingspan. Then, they need to change the attributes numerous times until they find out the perfect combination of attributes and badges.

But what if players want to change their build later on, is that possible? Let's find out.

Can Players Change Their Build in NBA 2K25?

Unfortunately, players can't change their build in NBA 2K25, at least when it comes to the position, height, weight, wingspan, and attribute distribution, of a build.

To do that users will need to create a build from scratch and spend hundreds of hours to upgrade it or buy VC to do so. This might not be the answer players want to hear, especially the ones who are unhappy with their build, but there is no other option in NBA 2K25.

If a player spends thousands of VC upgrading a build and then isn't happy with it, for whatever reason, then starting over is the only option. Furthermore, all of the VC spent upgrading that build isn't recoverable, making the process of upgrading the new building even more painful.

The only thing players can change it's their MyPLAYER appearance, hair, face, and tattoos, among other options. That can be done at all times no matter the build type.

That's why it's so important for players to choose the best point guard, shooting guard, center, power forward, or small forward builds available.
