Black Ops Cold War isn't going to be the "main" Call of Duty game for much longer - we're just over a week away from Vanguard and we can't wait. However, this leaves us with a lot of questions... Where does Warzone fit into this? Are we going to get a Season Six Reloaded update for Warzone? What's even going on for the next few weeks!
Vanguard's Season One isn't expected to start until mid-to-late November, so we've got some time still left over from Cold War's Warzone stint. Here's everything going on and what to expect.
SEASON SIX RELOADED? - Do we think we're getting one?
Honestly, no. We don't think Season Six Reloaded is going to drop. It's technically due next week, but after the larger-than-usual update we got at the start of "The Haunting" event, we don't think we're getting another so soon to Vanguard's launch.
"The Haunting" had its own roadmap - just like the 80s Action Heroes update (which was a "Reloaded" update) and the other "Reloaded" updates we've seen in the past. The Call of Duty Blog post on "The Haunting" also detailed a little bit about what to expect in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone post-Halloween event.
So... As much as it pains us to say it... We think "The Haunting" was the last major update Black Ops Cold War is going to get and Warzone's going to have to wait until the end of Season Six for the next big content drop.
That doesn't mean nothing's going on between now and then, though...
NEW CONTENT - What's still to come?
At the moment, we only know about two things coming to Warzone between now and the end of Season Six.
Firstly, the Hammer and Sickle melee weapon is going to be added to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone as an unlockable via challenge or Antonov's Split Personality Bundle. This will be available on November 2nd - the day "The Haunting" ends.
In addition to this, there has been a series of leaks talking about the "Visions of Verdansk" in-game event. We expect this to be a two-part event that will see the transition of Warzone's main map from Verdansk to the new Pacific Theatre map that's due to launch with Vanguard Season One.
The only thing we know about this event is that it's going to bring back all of Verdansk's past in-game events and a few in-game rewards to boot. We don't know too many details - due to a lack of official communications - but expect to hear more about this in the next couple of weeks.
