Call of Duty Vanguard is going to be huge - there's so much content coming and Shipment is only just the first post-launch update. It's due to drop soon and we know when - but there's also a Multiplayer Free Access weekend? Here's the latest.
FREE MULTIPLAYER ACCESS - Just in time for Shipment
If you want to try before you buy, now is the time. Vanguard is hosting a Multiplayer Free Access weekend from November 18th to November 22nd, according to the Tweet below:
It's worth taking this with a pinch of salt, though, as we haven't seen the same announcement from an official social media account. That doesn't mean it isn't coming though, but be wary. Read on for more information about Shipment.
What day does Shipment release for Vanguard?
Shipment is an iconic Call of Duty map and Vanguard is the next game it's going to appear on - at the moment, we know that Shipment is due to be added on November 17th as a part of several "free special deliveries in the days leading up to Season One."
Here's what they've had to say so far...
" Headlining that batch of free content is Shipment, the classic frenetic Multiplayer experience re-fitted for Vanguard, currently scheduled for a November 17 arrival. Newcomers and veterans alike can ready up for a fresh take on the map that’s entertained Call of Duty fans for over a decade, providing all Vanguard players a chaotic playground for destruction."
At the moment, we've only got this one look at Shipment. It's going to be the same layout, more or less, but Vanguard's "destructible environments" should come into play.
Everything we know about Vanguard Season 1
At the moment, we don't have too many details about Vanguard Season 1 - which is due to start a couple of weeks after Shipment is released. However, we do know what it means for Warzone.
Vanguard Season 1 starts on December 2nd and this is when it all kicks off - Warzone's Ricochet Anti-Cheat System and new Pacific map, Caldera, both get added on the same date.
In addition to this, Vanguard's integration with Warzone is slated for this date. This means all the Operators and Weapons are going to be available in Warzone alongside Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons from December 2nd onwards.
There's going to be Vanguard BR, though, to keep things separate if you'd prefer. It's a shame we didn't get Modern Warfare BR throughout the last year, to be honest...
