As a series, Call of Duty offers some of the best team-based multiplayer experiences out there at the moment. Whether you're a casual fan or a hardcore gamer, Call of Duty caters to pretty much everyone and it's always better playing it with friends. If you're having trouble trying to invite your friends to your lobby in Vanguard, we have everything you need to know about how you can do this.
HOW TO INVITE your friends to your lobby
It isn't as obvious as it seems, but inviting your friends to your Vanguard lobby is actually quite easy once you know where you're looking.
When you're on the multiplayer lobby screen - or the Zombies lobby screen - you're going to need to open the Social Menu by pressing Triangle on PlayStation or Y on Xbox.
From here, you'll need to tab over to the "Friends" tab by hitting R1 or RB. Then, all you need to do is select the friend you want to invite to Vanguard from the list and hit "Invite to Party".
This is going to show you every single one of your PlayStation Network - or Xbox Live - friends as well as your Activision ID friends. It should also indicate who's offline and who's online and if they've started playing Vanguard you'll be able to check out things like their Clan Tag, Calling Card, and Emblem from this screen too!
Even though you're inviting them to Call of Duty Vanguard through Vanguard itself, you should find that a notification pops up for the invitation on PlayStation or Xbox - whether you're in Vanguard or not.
Call of Duty Vanguard has over thirty weapons available at launch and twenty multiplayer maps to play on. There's going to be a new map introduced in the pre-season period and then another batch of content in Season One. It's a good time to be a Call of Duty fan.
