Call of Duty Vanguard: How to change FOV on Console and PC

It's finally time to lock and load, Operators. Vanguard is finally here and Sledgehammer Games has put together the largest multiplayer launch in Call of Duty history - there are over thirty weapons to check out and twenty maps available at launch. It's a good time to be a Call of Duty fan, that's one thing we're certain of.

This Call of Duty multiplayer experience isn't going to be easy, though. If you're looking to improve your chances and adjust your FOV in-game, we have everything you need to know about changing your FOV in Vanguard on Consoles and PC.

HOW TO CHANGE - FOV on Consoles & PC

FOV slider settings have been around on PC games for a little while now, but this is the first time you can change your FOV properly in a Call of Duty game on consoles. The best part is, it couldn't be easier to do!

All you need to do is access the settings, head to the graphics tab, and then change the FOV settings on there. You can access this on consoles by pressing the "pause" or "options" button. On PC, it's best to look at the bottom of the screen for the correct key input or the settings menu itself.

FOV SLIDERS - Here's what you should be looking at

Changing your FOV in Call of Duty is beneficial in a lot of ways. It helps to give you a wider perspective from gameplay - meaning you can see more of the map at any one time. This can help you spot enemies in your peripherals that you might otherwise miss.

Of course, this is a setting more suited to Keyboard and Mouse gameplay, but if you're playing Vanguard with a high sensitivity you should be able to make the most out of this. It's worth noting that changing the FOV will only affect multiplayer and Call of Duty Zombies - the campaign's FOV is fixed.
