Call of Duty is a lot more monetised than it used to be - rather than paying for DLC Map Packs, Call of Duty is built around a system that has you paying for cosmetic items. It's a lot better - especially if you're a casual fan - and there are some fantastic cosmetic items on offer. One thing you can change in Call of Duty Vanguard is your Calling Card and Emblem. You unlock a lot of these for completing in-game challenges and through the Battle Pass, too.
Here's everything you need to know about switching them out and finding a Calling Card and Emblem that show the Call of Duty world what you're all about.
HOW TO CHANGE - Calling Card & Emblem
If you want to change your Calling Card and Emblem in Vanguard, you're going to need to be in the multiplayer menu - or the Zombies menu - to start the process.
From here, you need to select the Barracks menu, then go down to Customisation. Here's where you'll find all your unlocked Calling Cards and Emblems - from Challenges or Call of Duty Store purchases.
You'll be able to unlock Calling Cards and Emblems from a variety of places, including...
- Campaign Progression
- Campaign Challenges
- Multiplayer Progression
- Multiplayer Challenges
- Weapon Challenges
- Operator Challenges
- Zombies Progression
- Zombies Challenges
- In-Store Operator Bundles
- In-Store Weapon Bundles
- Current Battle Pass Tiers
As we continue through Call of Duty Vanguard's seasonal updates, expect a lot more of these to become available. Black Ops Cold War, by the end, had hundreds of Calling Cards and Emblems available. Treyarch also recently added a series of "Completionist Challenges" for players to complete and fully finish their collection of Calling Cards.
We don't know if Sledgehammer Games is planning the same for Vanguard, but we wouldn't rule it out.
