You can see it now... You burst into a room, Rambo's there. You turn to run, Rambo's there. The window? Rambo's there. Then, Rambo stabs you in the back. Quads are never going to be the same again.
Call of Duty has pushed the boat out a little bit with their mid-Season update. They're ditching realism and pausing the Black Ops narrative to bring us an epic action-packed Season 3 Reloaded update.
LATEST - The Update Is Out Right Now
Black Ops Cold War and Warzone have both had their respective updates and Call of Duty's Season 3 Reloaded are out right now.
You can check out the Warzone Patch Notes in the post below:
Treyarch has also uploaded their own Black Ops Cold War Patch Notes too:
If you want to purchase the Rambo Operator Bundle or the Die Hard Operator Bundle, both of these are only going to be available in-store until June 18th at 21:00 PST / 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST (June 19th).
Update Times Announced
We know that the 80s Action Heroes Season 3 Reloaded update is going to start on May 20th, but when can you download the update?
Both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will have separate updates at different times, which makes things a little annoying, but thankfully Treyarch and Raven Software have both shared when we can expect these updates to go live.
Black Ops Cold War's Season 3 Reloaded update was released on May 18th at 21:00 PST / 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST (May 19th) and Warzone's update will be released on May 19th at 21:00 PST / 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST (May 21st).
Mid-Season Update Release Date
We don't have confirmation that the following actually is the mid-season update but it all lines up. As you might imagine, Call of Duty's marketing has left everything a little bit mysterious.
With that being said, it looks like Call of Duty presents 80s Action Heroes is due to release on May 20th.
This is next Thursday, so it lines up with the usual "Weekly Playlist Update" slot for both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. As you can see in the tweet above, it looks like John Rambo is joining the fight with a First Blood-inspired look and we also know that Die Hard's John McClane is joining the fight.
Call of Duty's 80s Action Heroes
At the moment, the only thing we know about is the two new Operators that are due to drop. Antonov was just released, so that's all the Season 3 Operators we were told about at the start of the season and now we have confirmation that both John Rambo and John McClane are coming.
Here's Rambo's teaser...
And here's a teaser for "Cowboy McClane"...
We're still waiting on the AMP63 automatic pistol to drop, but other than that we don't really have any idea of what's coming in Call of Duty's 80s Action Heroes ahead of the release date.
Treyarch has announced that another weapon tuning pass is coming and we expect to see something that resembles a mid-season roadmap on Monday, May 17th.
