Call of Duty Modern Warfare: The Perk Combo to be the BEST in MW (PS4, XBOX, PC)

Call of Duty is always in full force when it uses its classic three perk System. However, we have seen the ability to use more than one perk in each slot in previous games, which has always made for interesting gameplay.

The original MW and MW2 used a three perk system and were arguably the best COD games of all time! With the returning Specialist ability to gain perks instead of Killstreaks, we could start to see some crazy perk combinations.

With the limited ability to pick only one perk from each slot, this makes picking the right perk just that bit more important. Here are which perks you should use for all three perk slots.

Perk One

There are six available perks to choose from in slot one. All six of them are very useful in their own way which is why making sure you have the right perk combo is vital to a good game.

If your playing style is to run and gun, we recommend using the first perk that is unlocked which is:

  • Double Time

Double Time doubles the duration of Tactical Sprint and increases crouch movement speed by 30%. This will allow players to reach objectives quicker, this is because they are able to use the full sprint for longer periods of time.

This is ideal for games such as Search and Destroy or Domination as you will be able to reach the bomb site, or the B flag, quicker. Giving you and your team the advantage.

Another perk that we suggest you use in slot one is:

  • Quick Fix
  • Health regeneration delay is reduced by 3 seconds
    on kill
  • Health regeneration rate is doubled while
carrying, capturing or holding an objective

‘Killing players, capturing objectives and holding
objectives will increase your health regeneration rate.’

This is ideal to get those long streams of kills and not die; because health regen is considered slow compared to other Call of Duty games, and Quick Fix, will allow you to gain health quicker once shot.

SLOT ONE

Perk Two

Once again there are six perks that you can choose from for slot number two, although, we feel that these are not as crucial as all the perks in slot number one. With that being said, they still impact your style of play.

There is one perk in particular that we feel everyone should use in certain classes; this is:

  • Ghost

Ghost makes you undetectable by UAVs, Radar Drones, and Heartbeat Sensors, as well as being immune to snapshot grenades.

However, you still:

  • Appear on Killstreak radar when firing a weapon
  • Detectable by Advanced UAVs, but removes the direction

PERK TWO

With there being no red dot highlighted on the mini-map when
a player shoots, this gives a lot of players the incentive to run UAV, which is
a 4 killstreak.

To counter this, running Ghost will keep you off the radar from the enemy, which may take them by surprise if you creep up on them, whilst they are running a UAV. We feel that Ghost should be run on most classes no matter what game mode.

Perk Three

Last but not least the perk three slot. What should you pick and why? We believe that two of these will be used more than others and this is because of the in-game effect it has on your gameplay.

  • Shrapnel
  • Battle Hardened

Shrapnel allows players to spawn with an extra piece of lethal equipment and explosive damage delays health regeneration.

This perk is ideal for objective-based game modes, such as Domination or Search and Destroy, this is because you are able to throw two Grenades rather than just one, doubling your chances of securing a kill.

PERK THREE

However, with Tactical equipment being so powerful in this year's Call of Duty Modern Warfare, you could try using Battle Hardened (it reduces the effect of Stuns, Flash Bangs and EMPs) if you find yourself being affected by equipment a lot (or just be more careful).

Let us know down below whether or not you have a different perk combination, or yours looks similar to ours!
