The Season 2 Reloaded update has just dropped for Black Ops Cold War and there's another weapon on the way!
Wolf and Rivas are finally joining Woods in the jungle and there are a few new maps to play on, too.
Nuketown is about to get even more deadly! Here's what we know about the new weapons coming to Black Ops Cold War in Season 2 Reloaded.
LATEST - "In Season"?
Treyarch has pushed out their Season 2 Reloaded update for Black Ops Cold War a little earlier than expected, but it doesn't actually include everything that's supposed to be coming to the 80's Call of Duty in this mid-season refresher.
If we look at the roadmap, we can see that both Rivas and the ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle are due "In Season".
What does this mean? Well, it could mean anything. With updates usually going out on Thursdays, it could mean that we see both of these added to the game as early as April 1st.

However, it seems much more likely that we're looking at April 8th, a week later.
Preloading Is Live
Although we're not so sure about the early release date, preloading for the Season 2 Reloaded update is out now for Black Ops Cold War players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
You can check out the information below that claims that Season 2 Reloaded will begin on Tuesday, March 30th at 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST.
With every major Call of Duty update and content release coming on Thursdays, we're not sure that this will be the release time for Season 2 Reloaded.

Rather, we believe that this is just an installation time that will enable Treyarch to add the new content smoothly come Thursday.
New Weapons
We can expect to see two new weapons when the Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Season 2 Reloaded update is released, the R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow and the ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle.

R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow
" This crossbow’s simple and lightweight design allows for great handling and quieter eliminations. If an Operator doesn’t prefer its iron sights, they can still shoot accurately from the hip in close quarters or opt to attach one of several Optics. Happy hunting."
ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle
" Built for sharpshooters who need the power to eliminate targets at extremely long ranges, this bolt-action sniper rifle boasts a faster bullet velocity than any other weapon in its class, as well as the ability to eliminate Operators with a single shot to the head, chest, or shoulders in exchange for a slower fire rate. Its reload speeds are among the fastest in the category, allowing snipers to quickly change out magazines when faced with multiple hostile forces."

We're not sure on the specifics of either weapon just yet, but we're certain that the ZRG 20mm will make an impact on the Warzone meta with its superior Bullet Velocity and Reload Speed.
We can also expect adjustments to be made of the following weapons,
- LC10
- AK-74u
- MAC-10
- KSP 45
- Milano 821
- Krig 6
- FFAR 1
- Groza
- Magnum
- RPG-7
Release Date
We don't have an official release date yet, but we do know when we are expecting to see Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded launch for Treyarch's 80's shooter.
With Season One Reloaded coming a month after the first season launched, we are fairly certain that Black Ops Cold War Season 2 is coming on March 25th or April 1st.
Treyarch, and Call of Duty developers in general, aren't strangers to delaying things if necessary but we would be surprised if anything released later than what we've suggested above.
For the latest straight from the horse's mouth, though, keep an eye on Treyarch's socials.
